September Favourites

We're experiencing patchy weather and intermittent wind and rain here in Auckland at the moment, which is pretty typical for Spring! But on the bright side, the days will only get warmer and with it also comes a few fresh new products to try! Check out some of my favourites this month.

Sukin Sunless Bronzing Gel

Nothing quite like a sun kissed glow to the skin to make you feel like summer is coming, and even better when it’s provided by way of an all natural product too. This bronzing gel gives a light golden glow to the skin and is completely free of an nasty ingredients. Perfect for those wanting a light natural glow rather than a full blown fake tan.

Mellow Blush in Pink

Nice easy no fuss matte blush that’s paraben free and blends easily into the skin. I also reviewed their lip paint range recently if you want to check that out. The pink pigments’s not super strong so you can’t really go wrong with this one. Comes in Pink, Peach and Bronze.

Maybelline Baby Lips

Sheer and subtle lip balm in a dome shape with a flat screw top lid in four different shades, all with different scents. My favourite is Innocent Peach

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in Rose Shimmer

For those of you who just want the look of naturally gorgeous lips without feeling like you’re wear much. This is a super comfortable lip cream that sits nicely somewhere between a gloss and a balm; nice and moisturising and not sticky at all. It gives a light veil of colour

Smashbox Baked Fusion Softlights in Starblush

I’ve talked about this before but that’s simply because I genuinely love it. Using a fan brush other soft powder brush, swirl it around all the colours and apply to the high points of the face. It gives a super soft lit from within glow to the skin and perfect as a soft highlight on the cheekbones.
